Values & Vision

The John Randall way – Our School Values

Our first simple school motto is to be Ready, Respectful and Safe.

Through our half-terms, we will visit values that are important to us.  These include: KINDNESS RESPECT RESILIENCE INTEGRITY ACCEPTANCE and AMBITION

Our core values underpin everything that we do and we believe that ‘attitude is more important than ability!’  Attitude is everything!

John Randall himself was a lifelong learner and through fostering personal development and positive personal attributes alongside learning characteristics, we will enable our children to become successful lifelong learners too.  We have a dedicated and experienced staff who support this, alongside our parental and wider local community.

Linked with our school values are our very own unique Learning Animals.  These are characteristics of learning that help guide us through each and every day.

School Vision

We believe that every child is unique and learning through a ‘Window and Mirror’ curriculum supports this ethos – a curriculum where children can look through the window and see into other people’s lives and cultures, both past and present, as well as look into the mirror to see themselves and the sense of pride that follows.

We want to provide our children with lifelong knowledge and skills which will shape them into happy, successful individuals.  Here at John Randall Primary School and Nursery, we simply want our children to be the very best they can be!

It is an honour to share our John Randall Vision and Values with you, as well as useful information about our school family.
