Dear parents and carers,
What an end to a half term! Snow, ice and Christmas!
It was lovely to see so many of you at the Key stage 1 and Foundation stage Nativity performances. Didn’t they do well?!
I am especially proud of the children’s performance as they had nearly a week off school due to the snow!
The staff worked so hard to create such a wonderful production and the children did them proud.
Thank you also to those parents who bought raffle tickets, we raised over £200 for school funds!
Please come in and collect your prizes.
We are saying hello and goodbye to some members of staff at the end of this term.
Mr Thorndyke will be leaving us to do some world travel – we wish him all the very best in his new adventures! In his place will be Ms Thomas. We will be advertising soon for a permanent replacement teacher to start in September. The class will continue to be well supported by Ms Hodson.
Mrs Aguayo will also be leaving us for a little while – to have her baby! Mrs Buckley will be teaching reception whilst Mrs Aguayo is on maternity leave and we will be saying hello again to Mrs Hodson who will be teaching with Miss Barnett in Nursery. So some familiar faces and some new ones will be joining the John Randall Team.
May I thank you for your continued support for school. Can I remind everyone that the registers are taken at 9.00am sharp! The back and side gates will be closed then and late comers will need to sign in at the front desk. We are doing really well with our attendance and it would be great to have the late gates numbers as low as possible.
Wishing you all a very safe and peaceful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
